My first (of hopefully many) fundraiser parties is coming up next month. I really want these groups to benefit from participating so please come out!

We all like to gather and party to good music.
We also like to be a positive force whenever we can in our lives.
Here’s an opportunity to do both.

DJ limbs is featuring three non-profit groups to participate in the first of many fundraiser events he is hosting at Between Lounge on September 17th, 2009:

Each group is doing great work for their respective communities in Chicago. Come out to party and help them raise funds at the same time. The more you buy at the bar the more they get!

limbs spins funk, soul, hiphop, downtempo, house and that hype new new when the energy levels gets there…throughout this night, he’ll be sprinkling in tracks from our favorite revolutionary theme songs present and past to remind people of the power music has to inspire change. Music is the Weapon.
